Having owned an Auction business and Tag sales service since 1990, I can speak with authority when it comes time for you to sell your personal property. This may be in the form of an Auction, Tag sale or a combination of the two. You may not have the most famous estate in the world like Jackie Onassis or Barbara Streisand, but can you imagine their items being offered in a tag sale, or can you imagine the vacuum cleaner in the same auction?

We've sold pocket watches for $900-$1,000; we've sold small tiny items which would have ended up in a .25 Cent Box in a tag sale, for $100's of dollars using the Auction method using the "buy now" Tag sale Combo method.  We've sold books for $300's during one of our recent Auction. You'll have the satisfaction of knowing the public bid on your items fairly. If anything doesn't sell in the time frame needed these items then are appraised for donations.

 Ask yourself; why do the neighbors and dealers sleep in front of a house about to open for a Tag Sale?" It's because they know they'll be able to  get an opportunity to make the first offers on items from your estate or home. By doing this we know what they market will bring or what the "market is telling us" and "get a feel" as to how the rest of the sale may go.

There's a reason why the Internal Revenue Service and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice considers Auctions as the source for comparables in determining FAIR Market VALUE.....and not Tag Sales, however you area may not be the market where folks will stand around all day waiting for a $45. desk to come up. This is why we combine the two methods and thereby get the best possible value for the sellers.
